Coenzyme Q10 and PCOS

I’m always researching and trying to find some natural and safe ways to improve my overall health and my PCOS. After my miscarriage I started to research how to naturally improve egg quality and one of the ways kept coming up in every article I read. The main subject of topic is Coenzyme q10. I’ve been taking this for about 2 weeks now so I’m anxious to see how I feel in the next month or so.

The reason I decided to start taking Coenzyme q10 was because of the function it plays in our cells. It is needed for basic function of our cells and is a source of fuel for the mitochondria. The mitochondria are the power plants to the cells and without fuel. Our ovulation and eggs have a high demanding job and that is why they are full of mitochondria’s. Without energy, there is not healthy eggs.

The recommended dosage of Coenzyme q10 is around 600 mg daily. In a clinical study they had certain women start taking 600 mg of Coenzyme q10 3 months prior to fertility treatments and monitored the energy production, whether they got pregnant, embryo quality, and live birth rate. The study resulted in a great outcome and hopefully more studies can help prove that this supplement is beneficial.

I’ll keep you all updated on my results with adding this supplement to my daily vitamin regimen J
